Tori

Tori went in for emergency surgery last night around 8. We were expecting intussusception. What we got is worse and strange. Tori has a severe bacterial infection of the intestines. We don't know from what yet or why. She is in isolation and we have sent samples of her damaged intestines off to the l...ab to see just what on earth has attacked her. She is still very ill, but the vet believes she has turned the corner. It is still touch and go. Tomorrow will tell us everything. Thanks for the prayers, donations and general good vibes.

Tori is a 12 week old Great Pyrenees puppy. She is a normal happy healthy pyr puppy. This morning, Tori did not act like she felt well. By mid afternoon, she was vomiting and weak and in obvious distress. Tori has intussusception which is a telescoping of her intestines resulting in an intestinal blockage. She is heading to surgery now and we are expecting a bill between $2500 and $4000 in the morning. We weren't expecting this, and are very worried about our puppy.
