Bailey the honorary big fluffy dog

We have taken a small fluffy dog under our wing that has some special needs. Bailey is a middle aged teacup maltese with an eye problem and the worst teeth we have ever seen. The eye problem will be treated with eye drops, but Bailey has severe dental disease and is slated to have seven teeth pulled today to get the infection under control. Obviously, we don't typically rescue little dogs, but Bailey needs our help and we love all dogs. We have set up a chip in to help defray the cost of his dental work which is estimated at $500.
